Sheep Races

Each September, the Caragabal Country Club hosts the much loved Sheep Races - a highlight on our local calendar! This fantastic event brings together our community and visitors for a fun-filled day featuring 7 exciting races and a chance to bid for and "own" a sheep in the race.

Our P&C proudly runs the canteen on the day, and it's a wonderful opportunity for our school community to connect, support and celebrate local tradition.

P&C meeting

Our P & C meet once a month and plays an important role in supporting school initiatives and strengthening our sense of community. These meetings are a great way to stay informed, share ideas, and be a part of decisions that benefit our students. Parents and carers are warmly encouraged to come along, connect with others, and help make a positive difference in our school.

Kindergarten Orientation

Our Kindergarten Orientation program is a wonderful opportunity for our youngest learners to experience school life and become familiar with their new environment. The program helps children feel comfortable, confident, and excited about starting school. It has proven to be highly effective in supporting a smooth transition and fostering a strong sense of belonging from day one.

During the orientation, a parent meeting is also held, providing prospective parents with valuable information about the school and an opportunity to ask questions, meet staff, and learn more about what to expect in the year ahead.

Bland Sports Carnival

Bland Sports Carnival is a much anticipated community athletics event held each year between Bribbaree Public School, Quandialla Public School and Caragabal Public School. It's a wonderful day filled with friendly competition, teamwork, and community spirit. Students have the opportunity to showcase their athletic skills, cheer on their peers, and celebrate sportsmanship in a supportive environment. A big thank you to everyone who helps make this day a success - it's always as highlight on our school calendar!

Remembrance Day

Lest We Forget!

Students took part in a meaningful Remembrance Day ceremony. Students laid a special wreath made from their handprints - a symbol of our respect and gratitude for those who have served our country and those who continue to keep us safe.
