Student opportunities and activities
At Caragabal Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.

Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

Local Competitions
Our students challenge themselves in all areas of schooling. Alice and April can be seen here receiving awards in the local writing competition.

Community Projects
Our senior students were invited to participate in the design of story poles to be erected in the new Taylor Park development at Grenfell.
Our students had participated in the early planning stages with the Touched by Olivia Foundation. Students shared their ideas on what an inclusive space should look like and what needed to be included in an all-abilities play area.

Student Led Activities
Our school leaders regularly run events. All students (and staff as can be seen here) jump in and join in.

Virtual Lesson Support
Our dedicated staff address identified student need through virtual lessons delivered by our Virtual Assistant Principal, Curriculum and Instruction, facilitating student collaboration with other small schools and students around New South Wales.

High Potential and Gifted Education
At Caragabal Public School we support the development of the capabilities of students with High Potential, promoting engagement and challenge for every student. Students virtually collaborate with schools across New South Wales.

Small Schools Collaboration
As a small school we take pride in expanding opportunities for our community. Each week Caragabal Public School connects with neighbouring small schools to promote opportunities for students and staff to foster growth across all domains; academically, socially and physically.
