Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Sheep Races Canteen – What a Team Effort!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who made our Sheep Races canteen such a success!

Our hardworking committee:  Melanie, Lauren, Kath & Martina  kept everything running smoothly.

Our BBQ legends:  Brad Kirk, Garth Gault, Mr Jones, Mr Petrou & Charles Maslin  kept the sausages and steaks sizzling all day.

The one and only  Ruth Kirk, queen of the onions and back-of-house magic!

We were also lucky to have  Kate Taylor and Rochelle Noble  jump in and lend a hand. Thank you, ladies.

And how about our superstars  Olivia, Emily and Reese, were our bread buttering champions and the senior girls stayed in the canteen serving customers all day with big smiles. What a stand-out effort!

A special thank you also goes to  Mitch, Karen, and the members of the Caragabal Country Golf Club  for hosting this wonderful event and offering the P&C the opportunity to run the canteen.

The P&C raises funds to provide new resources for the school and experiences for our students, with the first being an exciting  road trip to Dubbo Zoo!  This canteen was a brilliant boost towards making that happen.
